Embryo Freezing

Frozen embryos are stored in liquid nitrogen (-196 degrees) until they are used again. The main indications for embryo freezing are:

 

There are still too many high-quality embryos left after the transfer.
Any problems that arise during the period when the embryos will be transferred (for example, overstimulation of the ovaries during hormone therapy).
The endometrium is not thick enough to support pregnancy.
